About Clocip-B: Clocip-B Cream (Beclomethasone Dipropionate/Clotrimazole) is a medicine which is prescribed to patients suffering from conditions that are caused by fungi. Some examples of such conditions include yeast infections, ringworms, athlete’s foot, oral thrush, jock itch among others. The medicine has combined two active ingredients which are beclomethasone dipropionate and clotrimazole, and they work together in alleviating symptoms caused by such conditions. Clotrimazole is categorized as an azole antifungal and is mainly responsible for preventing fungal growth. The other ingredient beclomethasone dipropionate is mainly used in reducing inflammation caused by fungi in the skin.

How to use Clocip-B

This medicine is strict to be applied externally to the skin and should never be taken orally or any other way. It is available as a cream. Before applying the cream, clean the affected area and ensure it is well dried. Check the cream for any sign of contamination such as discoloring or suspended particles and its expiry date. As soon as you ascertain that the cream has not expired or been contaminated, apply it to the area that requires treatment and partly the area surrounding it. Apply small amounts or as instructed by your physician and avoid as much as possible covering the entire area with the cream unless your physician has specifically requested you to do so.

Clocip-B Dosage

Depending on the condition you are suffering from, correct dosages will be prescribed to you by your physician. Different individuals may be prescribed different dosages due to the severity of the condition, their present health condition, and medical history. For instance, its possible to have an adult prescribed to apply for this medicine two times a day for 3-7 days. Another patient suffering from oral thrush may be prescribed to apply the cream five times for up to 2 weeks.
