About Aerocort:
Aerocort Inhaler (Beclomethasone Dipropionate /Levosalbutamol) is a treatment medicine for obstructive airway diseases such as asthma. It is developed to reduce inflammation in patients by reduction of airways through muscles relaxation. The 2 active ingredients in the medicine are what experts consider the two most ideal treatment medicine for obstructive airway disease and they work better together as compared to separately.
Aerocort inhaler is to be inhaled via mouth by patients. Normally this should be twice per day but depending on prescription, this could differ among patients. It should be used as directed by the physician and patients are advised to seek clarifications on what is not clear to them from their doctors. Aerocort is not a cure for asthma but relieves its symptoms and results may be seen from 24 hours after the first medication. Once you have started on a dosage, it is advised that you strictly adhere to it until completion. Even when symptoms improve, you should continue with Aerocort inhaler until when the dose is over. If symptoms do not improve within the first four weeks of use, or they get worse, seek immediate medical attention.
Aerocort Inhaler should be strictly used as prescribed by the doctor. In most adult cases for asthma treatment, doctors prescribe a daily dosage of two puffs of the inhaler per each day. This should go on until when the inhaler runs out without any alterations of the dosage. Before starting the treatment, lead information on the printed leaflet and when unsure, consult your physician for additional information. Your physician may decide to add you a spacer device that you will use with your inhaler, and this is mostly important particularly with children patients. Ensure that you understand how to use the aero core inhaler device well and if a first time user or have not been using it for a long period, prime before taking the first puff. Remember different doses are prescribed to patients depending on the condition being treated, the severity of symptoms and the medical condition of the patient.
