This is because of its two main active ingredients in ciprofloxacin hydrochloride which are a quinolone antibiotic and the anti-inflammatory corticosteroid in dexamethasone. Dexamethasone is responsible with reducing symptoms related to bacterial infections such as itchiness, swelling or reddening while ciprofloxacin hydrochloride fights and eliminates the bacteria.
