Omnacortil (Prednisolone) defines a steroid which is used for the treatment of various ill conditions of the body. Other than treating lupus and breathing conditions, Omnacortil is used to treat skin conditions, allergies, arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and psoriasis. It works through triggering inflammation in the human body which blocks the release of substances that would cause or accelerate various symptoms.

How to use Omnacortil

Omnacortil is available in tablets which can be taken together with food. Depending on your dosage as prescribed by your physician, you may end up having to take the medicine between 1 or 4 times in a day. For most adults, the common starting dosage is 5mg to 60mg of Prednisolone each day depending on the condition being treated and its severity. Unless advised to do so by a doctor, you should not alter your dosage. This is despite noticing improved conditions of your symptom or its worsening thereof.
