Omnacortil (Prednisolone) defines a steroid which is used for the treatment of various ill conditions of the body. How to use Omnacortil
Omnacortil is available in tablets which can be taken together with food. Depending on your dosage as prescribed by your physician, you may end up having to take the medicine between 1 or 4 times in a day. For most adults, the common starting dosage is 5mg to 60mg of Prednisolone each day depending on the condition being treated and its severity. Unless advised to do so by a doctor, you should not alter your dosage. This is despite noticing improved conditions of your symptom or its worsening thereof.

Omnacortil Side Effects

These are; changes in vision, seizures, dizziness and drowsy feeling, persistent headaches, cramps in your stomach, abnormal gaining of weight, symptoms of low potassium and increased blood pressure, blood in your stools, swelling and developing skin rashes, lack of proper sleep, abnormal changes in your mood, abnormal drying of skin and a discoloured appearance, increased sweating and noticeable changes in the distribution of fat in the body. Omnacortil should not be used by patients who are allergic to any of its ingredients.
