About Olmo:
Olmo (Olmesartan Medoxomil) is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist medicine that is used to treat patients suffering from high blood pressure. In a normal description, it is referred to as antihypertensive. It can be used in treatment alone, or it can be combined with other antihypertensive medicines. Olmo controls symptoms related to blood pressure through relaxation of blood vessels which in turn leads to a fall in blood pressure. Other conditions that are controlled just as the medicine is working on blood pressure include heart failures, stroke, heart attacks and failure of the kidneys.
How to use Olmo
When using Olmo (Olmesartan Medoxomil), your physician may carry out frequent monitoring, and you should adhere. The medicine comes in tablets; these should take orally as directed by a physician. You can take the medicine with or without food but use water in both options.
Olmo Dosage
Doctors prescribe dosages of Olmo (Olmesartan Medoxomil) on an individual basis. This is dependent on the condition you are being treated, the severity of its symptoms as well as your present and past medical conditions. You are advised to adhere strictly to the dosage provided by your physician and not to increase or lower it at any one moment without the approval of your physician. A typical prescription for adults is mostly a starting dose of 20mg once a day. Patients at higher risks may, however, be prescribed a higher dosage depending on the severity of their conditions. Children between the ages of 6 and 16 will start with a daily dosage of 10mg.
Olmo Side Effects

Olmo Precautions
This medicine is suitable for patients who are strictly above five years of age. All patients should inform their physicians about any allergies they have. If you suffer from any allergic condition when using Olmo, consult your doctor immediately. Signs that will help you identify allergic reactions include chest tightness, skin rashes, and hives as well as experienced difficulties in swallowing or breathing. Though effective in its use, Olmo is not suitable for all patients. If you are pregnant, are trying to get pregnant, breastfeeding or currently using other medications which may include; prescribed or non-prescribed drugs, herbal medicine or supplements, inform your physician before starting your Olmo dosage.
