About Muvera: Muvera (Meloxicam) is a medicine belonging to the enolic acid group referred to as NSAIDs, which stands for non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This medicine is used in relieving patients’ symptoms of osteoarthritis and other different types of arthritis. How to use Muvera
As soon as your doctor prescribes Muvera to you, they will guide you on how to use the medicine especially if it’s your first treatment using this medicine. Since the medicine may cause you stomach upsets, it is recommended that you take it along with some food to prevent the upsets. Unless instructed otherwise by your doctor, take some water with each dosage you take. Remember not to take more than the recommended daily dose of 15mg unless your doctor has given you higher prescriptions. Be patient as it may take up to a fortnight for you to start experiencing the effects of using the medicine.
The amount of dose you take during your treatment will be determined by your doctor. Depending on what condition you are treating, your health status, medical history and whether or not you are using other medication including prescriptions, non-prescriptions, herbal products or supplements, you doctor will prescribe to you a unique dose. There are two different strength tablets of Muvera; the 7.5mg and 15mg and the physician will pick the right one for you. For adults treating conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis, the normal starting dose is 7.5mg. Depending on how your body responds to the treatment, your doctor may decide to increase the dosage gradually up to 15mg. Muvera Side Effects
When using Muvera for the treatment of your arthritis or any other condition, you may experience the occurrence of side effects. The most commonly reported side effects include; stomach discomforts, headaches, vertigo, nasal congestion, and anxiety. There are other patients who may suffer from severe side effects when using this medicine although this is extremely rare and such include; abnormal weight gain, difficulties in balancing your body, vision problems, muscle weakness and discolored urine or other side effects that may not be listed here.
