This drug relieves such symptoms by relaxing the prostate. When used to treat high blood pressure, this medicine works by blocking some receptors known as alpha receptors found in the blood vessels thereby making the vessels wider and allow free flow of blood. In other instances, this medicine is used to treat kidney stones in patients.

Moreover, do not alter with the structure of the tablets by either crushing or dissolving in water. Always ask your doctor for clarification and avoid self-medication.
