About Trental:
Trental (Pentoxifylline) is a medicine that is used to treat health conditions that are caused as a result of poor blood flow which is due to peripheral vascular diseases. It reduces symptoms associated with the condition as well, and these may include pain in the joints and muscle aches. The basic mechanism of operation for this medicine is through increasing the capability of red blood cells in transporting oxygen which causes a direct impact in helping tissues and organs in the body to grow and improve.
How to use Trental
Trental should be administered orally at least three times a day or as per the prescriptions by your physician. You may take the medicine with or without food depending on your preference. Take with fluid and do not split, chew or crush the tablets. Take them whole so as to increase their effectiveness by not releasing it at once in the body.
Trental Dosage
For effectiveness of the medicine as well as good health conditions, it is important to follow the dosage prescribed by your physicians plus all the instructions. For a typical adult patient with moderate symptoms, most physicians recommend one tablet to be administered at least three times in a day. Trental Precautions

You should also not use Trental if you are pregnant, are trying to get pregnant, are breastfeeding, do not start using the medicine before receiving confirmation from your physician. Talk to your physician about your heart rhythm disorder, hypertension, ulcers of the stomach or intestines, kidney diseases or recent surgery if you have had any. Your doctor may need to know about your or your family’s medical history which is important in helping them determine if the medicine is suitable for you and what dosages they should prescribe to you. Common signs of allergic reactions include hives, difficulties in swallowing or breathing, swellings on tongue, throat and or lips.
