About Serobid: Serobid (Salmeterol Xinafoate) is an inhaler prescribed to patients experiencing breathing difficulties. The medicine works by relaxing airway muscles, and this opens them up for air passage and consequently making breathing easier. This medicine is commonly used as a long-term indication for patients suffering from asthma, emphysema, bronchitis and other breathing-related conditions. This medicine is categorized as a beta two agonist because its active ingredient is, in fact, a long-acting beta two agonist. This means that this medicine can be used for direct actions on the lungs which will cause the airways to open up almost immediately with the effects lasting for up to 12 hours after use. Its speed of action, however, is not fast enough to help counter wheezing symptoms or sudden asthma attacks and hence is not recommendable as a treatment for such conditions.
How to use Serobid
