How to use Revolution
Revolution for Cats and Dogs (Selamectin) is a topical medication prescribed to protect dogs or cats from a range of parasites which include tics, fleas, mites and heartworm. This item contains 6 pipettes which each provide protection for 1 month. the treatment causes parasites to become disabled, and eventually die after consuming the treated blood. Please note that this medication is only meant for use with cats or dogs and should never be used by humans or any other pets.
Revolution Dosage
Revolution for Cats and Dogs (Selamectin) needs to be reapplied once a month. To administer the medication, apply the contents of one tube to the skin between the shoulder blades of the animal. This will allow the solution to be absorbed and distributed throughout the body for the best results.
Do not touch the animal or allow the its back to get wet until the solution has dried, which usually takes between 12 and 24 hours. During this period, keep children and other household pets away from the animal also.
Revolution Side Effects
Although normally well tolerated, some animals have experienced side effects after the application of Revolution for Cats and Dogs (Selamectin). The most common symptom is irritation at the area of application, however if your pet experiences loss of coordination, diarrhea, vomiting, labored breathing, or excessive drooling, contact the veterinarian immediately as serious health problems can occur if necessary preventative action is not taken.
Revolution Precautions
Revolution for Cats and Dogs (Selamectin) should not be used if your animal has skin which is broken or damaged in any way.
