About Mycospor : Mycospor (Bifonazole) - 10mg (10g) is an antifungal cream for topical use that treats fungal infections of the skin such as ringworm, athlete’s foot and onychomycosis among others. It uses Bifonazole as the active ingredient which kills fungi and yeast cells. This is achieved by hampering production of ergosterol which is a key component of fungal cell wall membranes. By impeding on the fungal cell structure, the fungi are destroyed and the infection is eliminated. Since athlete’s foot is the most common fungal infection, Mycospor antifungal cream is regularly used to treat it.

How to use Mycospor


This medicine is for topical use and the cream should be applied on the affected area. Follow the doctor’s instructions or read the instructions on the package to know the proper amount and how to use it. The doctor will prescribe a certain amount depending on the nature and severity of your condition. Before you start applying the cream, use a clean wet cloth to rinse the area being treated to remove dirt, debris and loose skin. Squeeze the tube lightly and apply a thin film of the cream on the skin; massage gently into the skin and leave any residue to evaporate in open air. After applying the cream, wash your hands with soap and water to prevent spreading it.
