Morr-F (Minoxidil/Finasteride) is a treatment solution for men suffering from male pattern baldness (MPB). It boosts hair growth by reducing the concentration of DHT and increase of blood flow to the scalp. A combination of these two procedures leads to hair growth, and these are possible as a result of the active ingredients in the medicine working in a different way. Minoxidil acts by dilating blood vessels (vasodilation) in hair follicles which lead directly to the growth of thick hair as a result of stimulation of the growth process of the follicles. Finasteride is categorized as an inhibitor of the 5-allpha-class. It inhibits the working of the enzyme which helps in generating dihydrotestosterone (DHT which is a potent androgen that affects the growth of follicles and causes loss of hair) from testosterone (which is also a type of androgen).
How to use Morr-F
Morr-F (Minoxidil/Finasteride) is available as a 60ml solution bottle. Your physician will advise on an application which mostly is 1ml, two times a day. Depending on how severe your hair loss condition is, your doctor will prescribe you the right dosage. In most cases, the total daily dosage should not exceed 2ml in most cases. Once you have your prescription, take the amount prescribed and apply it to the bald section of your scalp. Before applying the solution, ensure that you have cleaned the section that you intended to apply for the medicine and dried it well. After application of the solution, give it between 2 and 4 hours to completely dry. It is not advised for you to use a hairdryer to dry the solutions, this could effect on its action.
Your doctor will provide you with a prescription that you are to follow strictly. Do not use the medicine unless it has been prescribed as a treatment alternative for you. Self-medication which includes using a dosage not prescribed to you or altering your prescribed dosage is not allowed. It could lead to an uncontrolled hair growth or continued baldness. For typical adults suffering from less severe baldness, a 2ml daily dosage is prescribed. This is to be applied two times after evenly spaced hours. Pick a time and decide to make it your preferred time for the application so as to avoid missing a dose.
Morr-F Side Effects
Talk to your physician right away when you notice any side effects. Some common ones include; scaling, dry scalp, itchiness or irritation of your scalp, effects on sexual performance and flaking appearance of the area under treatment. Your doctor will tell you about other probable side effects not listed here.
Morr-F (Minoxidil/Finasteride) is strictly for application on the bald section of the scalp. Under no circumstance should the medicine be taken orally or applied to any other areas other than the scalp. In case such a scenario happens, consult your doctor immediately. Once you have started on your treatment, do not withdraw unless it has been instructed by your doctor. Such an action can only lead to a relapse of the treatment which would mean continued hair loss. Before applying for this medicine, clean your hands well to avoid contaminating it. Clean them after application as well to reduce the risks of touching other unexpected areas that would lead to the growth of hair in unwanted areas in your body.
