About Ezentia : Ezentia 10mg is a medicine used to decrease the blood cholesterol levels. It acts by reducing the cholesterol absorption from the small intestines into the blood stream helping in maintaining the normal levels of blood cholesterol levels. It contains the active ingredient called Ezetimibe 10mg. The medicine is used alone or may be combined with the other Statins which fail to give the practical results thereby helping in lowering the blood cholesterol levels together. Though the exact mechanism is not known still, it is proved that it can block the critical mediator of the cholesterol absorption.
How to use Ezentia
Ezentia 10mg comes in a pack of 30 tablets. Read the instruction leaflet carefully before the consumption of the drug. In the event of any doubts regarding the intake of the medicine or any other instructions then consult your doctor or the nearby chemist once. The dose of the medication should not be altered or discontinued without the doctor`s consent. No self-medication also to be done as this may lead to any serious health complications.
Ezentia Dosage
Ezentia 10mg should be taken preferably in the morning before or after food. The medicine should be taken without discontinuation for a particular period or as directed by the physician. The medicine should be taken orally along with water. Ezentia Side Effects

Ezentia Precautions

Any history of liver diseases or history of medicines taken for the liver diseases to be informed to the doctor as the medicine is a contraindication. The drug can worsen the condition leading to complete liver failure.
A detailed history of any drug allergies or using any health supplements or any significant cardiac or renal illness should be informed to the doctor before the prescription.
The medicine should not use by the pregnant women, breastfeeding women or if plans to get pregnant or in cases of infertility treatment.
Discontinue the drug at once if you see the allergic reactions like rash, Angioedema and Anaphylaxis reactions after taking medicine and immediately seek medical attention.
The medicine has an interaction with the cyclosporine, and with fibrate hence the drug should not be used along with these drugs.
