About Emeset: Emeset (Ondansetron) is a medical drug that is indicated in patients using other medicine to treat different cancer conditions. This medicine is prescribed to help reduce and prevent the occurrence of nausea and vomiting which are common side effects for most cancer treatment medicine. The medicine is also indicated to patients who have just been operated on and are suffering from symptoms of nausea and vomiting. The medicine has been found effective in treating those two conditions for post-operative and cancer patients and may not be effective to treat the same symptoms as a result of different conditions such as motion sickness or any other condition that has not been mentioned here.

How to use Emeset


Your physician will give you specific details concerning your treatment using Emeset (Ondansetron), and you are encouraged to adhere. If you are undergoing chemotherapy, your doctor will instruct you to take the medicine up to 30 minutes before undergoing the procedure. For radiation therapy, an hour or two before the procedure and an hour for patients scheduled for surgery. If there are other dosages, they should be taken not more than three times in a day or as per the prescriptions by your doctor. You may choose to take the medicine with or without food but for both cases, it is recommended that you take together with a glass of water. Take the tablets whole as they come without splitting, chewing, crushing or dissolving them.

Emeset Dosage


You should only use this medicine if your physician has prescribed it for you. It is not an over-the-counter drug and patients are strictly prohibited to self-medicate this medicine. Your doctor will prescribe for you a dosage that is unique to your condition. Do not share your dosage with a different patient even if you both suffer from the same conditions. Emeset Side Effects
