About Eflora: Eflora Cream (Eflornithine Hydrochloride) is an ointment type of medication applied to the skin for treatment. This cream is used to treat excess and unwanted hair on the face of women. Despite natural hair growth, there are situations where the hormones responsible for hair growth are in excess and in turn causes excess growth of facial hair in women. Such situations occur with medical conditions like hirsutism where the androgens (hormones responsible for hair growth) are produced in plenty. This hair growth can also be attributed to the onset of menopause in women above 50. Eflora Cream (Eflornithine Hydrochloride) is applied to the face mostly around the chin and lips to slow down and stop excessive growth of facial hair. It is important to note that Eflora Cream limits the growth of facial hair but does not cure the condition that causes this phenomenon.

How to use Eflora

Eflora Cream is used by applying small amounts of cream on the surface of the skin. The user should apply the cream and scrub thoroughly with the palm then wait up to four hours for the cream to do its work for them to wash the face. Eflora Cream is mostly prescribed to be used twice in a day at least eight hours apart to prevent overuse. It takes a lot of time for the user to see the cream’s shaving effects and until then, the user can still shave and clip the excess unwanted hair. In about two months, the cream shows its cleansing qualities in full.
