About Asthalin: Asthalin 4 (Salbutamol) is a medicine prescribed to patients suffering from asthma and obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This medicine is not used to treat asthma but is used to alleviate symptoms related to asthma. It works through ensuring a clear passage of air through the airways. This it does through causing a relaxation of the respiratory airways and hence making breathing easier than it would normally have been. The medicine is categorized as a bronchodilator and beta-2 receptor agonist. This medicine is an effective solution for wheezing and breath shortness.

How to use Asthalin

Asthalin 4 (Salbutamol) is available as tablets that should be swallowed whole. Dissolving, chewing, splitting or crushing the tablets would lead to ineffectiveness of the medicine during treatment and thus the tablets should always be taken the whole. You may take the medicine without food but if this gives you stomach upsets, try taking it after a meal or together with a snack and always with a full glass of water.
